LET IT SNOW!

CANADIAN CHILDREN'S OPERA COMPANY

Sunday, December 7

3:00 PM

Experience the wonder of the season through the voices of the Canadian Children’s Opera Company, as their Principal Chorus and Young Artist Studio bring to life an enchanting program of holiday classics, winter songs, and timeless choral gems. With 70 singers filling the Wellington United Church, this concert will transport audiences into a soundscape of light, snow, and joy.

From the playful world of children in Carmen, the Queen and the Kids, continuing to the moving exploration of love and hope in Snow Angel, and ending with familiar seasonal classics, this programme offers both the comfort of tradition and the thrill of discovery, shimmering with magic, nostalgia and youthful spirit.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the artistry of one of Canada’s most celebrated youth choirs — right here in Prince Edward County.

About the Canadian Children’s Opera Company
For over 57 years, the Canadian Children’s Opera Company (CCOC) has been Canada’s only permanent children’s opera company, nurturing a love for opera in thousands of young singers. The CCOC offers outstanding training in voice, music, and drama for young people aged 3 to young adults. Members of the CCOC regularly perform with leading arts organizations in Toronto and beyond, including in productions by the Canadian Opera Company. Each year, more than 2,100 young people and their families benefit from their programming, which serves a wide range of communities throughout the GTA.
